As part of its action to promote youth employment and technical education in Liberia, UNIDO called on Easycube to strengthen the existing training infrastructure built by our company and to build a new centre at the Kakata site.
Easycube carried out the closure of the existing building with a 63/100th cladding and a sectional door.
The main structure of the new building is based on a galvanised steel frame resting on 3 40-foot maritime containers linked together by a twist-lock system. The use of the container as the basic construction process allowed for a very fast turnaround time and without the need for foundations.
The 3 containers were completely transformed and fitted out to accommodate changing rooms, sanitary facilities, classrooms and storage space. This building was constructed with the help of the centre’s pupils.
