General presentation
The Mahoraise bakery called on Easycube’s expertise for the manufacture of a negative cold room inside an existing shed located near Bouyouni on the island of Mayotte. This cold room is intended for the storage of meat.
Technical presentation
The floor of this cold room is a prefabricated floor consisting of rafters, vapour barrier in lacquered sheet steel, high-density insulation and a non-slip grooved aluminium covering glued to marine plywood. We have drawn on the know-how of the DREYER group with the use of 140mm thick EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) isothermal panels for negative cold rooms. The Easycube teams also installed the cold unit to maintain this room at a temperature of -20°C.
