Our teams were asked to design and build the extension of an existing warehouse built in 2015. The extension houses 2 negative cold rooms with an internal SAS for access to delivery trucks. The installation of this project was carried out in a record time of 4 weeks and was particularly demanding due to difficult weather conditions in St Pierre et Miquelon.
Technical presentation
The building deployed by Easycube complies with snow stress B2, very high quality Z275 structural galvanisation, roof and cladding lacquered in THD 35 microns and wind resistance of 250 km/h. The floor of the building is made in the traditional way (very cold ground) with “IGLU” plastic formwork allowing the rapid formation of a self-supporting platform above which is added a screed, a vapour barrier polyane and two layers of insulation (EPS).
Easycube proposed a global, turnkey construction solution with electrical connection, installation of refrigeration units and interior fittings with a shelving system.
