BIA, a distributor of public works machinery, has entrusted Easycube with the establishment of a new concession in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
A space of 3,500 m² and 11 buildings in covered enclosures was designed and built by Easycube teams to house a maintenance workshop, operator offices, a training centre and social facilities.
Technical presentation
For this project, we have implemented a constructive “cradle to cradle” eco-responsible approach. By reusing all the earth excavated during the creation of the concrete slab, 90,000 bricks were created for the cladding of the metal structure.
This eco-design principle enabled us to propose a construction with a positive footprint and to enhance the local know-how by involving the population in the construction of the building.
On the technical side, our teams designed and dimensioned an “adiabatic” ventilation system adapted for perfect temperature management, changing the ambient air up to 25 times a day.
